Nuggets, according to an online dictionary I consulted, are anything of great value, significance, or the like. Example: nuggets of wisdom.
In the book documenting My Life as an Entrepreneur, which I?m currently serializing in this column, I intend to sprinkle it with what I call Golden Nuggets.
That means, from time to time, I?ll be bringing out some nuggets of wisdom; things I learnt in my close to 30 years adventure as an entrepreneur. [To be precise, I marked my 27th year as an entrepreneur last month ?? October 1984 - 2011].
And, talking about Golden Nuggets, I?ve gathered quite a few in my entrepreneurial career. Let me start with one of those that I consider to be so powerful. It?s the Power of Testimonials.
You see, testimonials are to businesses what oxygen is to life: they can keep it alive! Here is an example of an unsolicited testimonial that fits perfectly the lesson I want you to draw from this golden nugget.
First, I?ll like you to read the testimonial. When you?re done, I will then tell you why it is so powerful and why you must absolutely generate it for your business to prosper from it. I felt happy not only because I now make good money from both online (through fiverr) and offline (through seminars) but, because of the feeling that I am touching lives with my knowledge of Internet money making. My audience is unemployed people.
