I?m taking a break this week from the series I?m running titled, My Life as an Entrepreneur. I?m doing that to attend to an urgent matter. The year is racing to an end. And I?ve not celebrated my prot?g?s even once this year.
That was a deliberate decision though. And I?ll explain the reason in a moment.
In case you are wondering who my prot?g?s are, they are the brilliant, creative, bold, and in many cases, young Nigerians who were looking forward to creating a bright future for themselves and their families and were determined to break down any barrier that stood between them and their noble objective to become financially free.
All they needed was a guide; somebody to tell them it was possible, somebody who had done exactly what they wanted to accomplish and was willing to show them how to do it without playing games with them.
And their Maker led them to Success Attitude Development Centre [SADC], the now 16-year-old institution that publishes the multiple streams of income paper, SuccessDigest.
And, to GOD alone be all the glory, these better future seekers got exactly what their hearts desired. Today they are standing tall, flying high the flag of entrepreneurship in Nigeria. And my ever faithful Heavenly Father has been prospering them as a result of their fidelity to the cause.
Here is a roll call of my precious prot?g?s who are in seminar/coaching business that I?m dedicating my column to today: Akin Alabi, Fisayo Akinlolu, Efe Imiren, Toye Oyeleke, Love Oladele [Mrs.], Ifeanyi Uche, Sanmi Akindipe, Olakitan Wellington [Mrs.], Lateef Olajide, Janet Anwo [Pastor, Mrs.], Samson Olatunde, Ayo Arowolo, Hope Eno, John Ojeagbase, Simon Uzoma, Kazeem Adewale, Julius Ojeagbase [that?s the OPS Team], Seun Ogundele, Zeal Azu and Paul Oghoghorie.
Did I leave out any of my prot?g?s from that list? There maybe one or two but certainly not more. And I didn?t leave them out deliberately. It must be an error of omission.
Every good parent ?? or, in this case, every good mentor ?? has a strong desire that their children will follow their footstep and even be greater than them. I?m grateful to Almighty GOD that He has answered my prayers in this regard.
The future of my prot?g?s is great. They are just beginning to blossom. And they are a constant source of joy to me. I?m so glad that each one of them is busy laying the foundation for their rosy future where money will not be a concern to them and giving back to the society will be an exercise they?ll undertake willingly and joyfully.
Talking about giving willingly, nothing can demonstrate their readiness to do so more than how joyfully all of them responded to my invitation to come together this month for our yearly November Special and share their knowledge with readers of SuccessDigest.
Attending the programme of many of my prot?g?s these days does not come cheap at all. To give you an idea, Akin Alabi just ran a sell-out, high ticket, N125,000 per head, two-day course while Ayo Arowolo charges as much as N500,000 per person as his coaching fees.
The Queen of Information Marketing, Princess Efe Imiren, did a N25,000 per person seminar at SADC less than two months ago while Ifeanyi Uche regularly holds N50,000 per head Forex Trading seminars.
Here is another fact to consider: These days many of my prot?g?s don?t even do seminars any more. They have diversified into what I call higher entrepreneurial endeavours like real estate, (Fisayo Akinlolu, Sanmi Akindipe), running schools (Sanmi Akindipe), just to name a few.
So, getting all of them to agree to drop everything they are doing currently to come back to the platform where GOD shined His light on their path and blessed them to be a blessing to others tells you how willing they are to impact the lives of others.
I tell you the absolute truth: none of them argued with me when I told them I would be charging a paltry sum of N3,000 for each of their proprietary courses that they will be presenting. And that includes Mrs. Love Oladele, who will be travelling all the way from Abuja, where she is blazing the trail as the trusted source for information marketing empowerment.
Okay, enough about my prot?g?s. Let?s talk briefly about you, my reader. What does all of this have to do with you? Simple: I want to raise more prot?g?s. I want them in the millions. And I want you to be among them so that I can celebrate your success tomorrow.
Are you keen? If yes, then block out November 21 to December 3 on your calendar. For each of those days, you will have access to one of my prot?g?s at SADC, 36 Esuola Street, Off Ago Palace Way, Okota, Isolo, Lagos, and for N3,000 only.
Beginning from last week Wednesday, SuccessDigest started running a special invitation letter from each of my prot?g?s. Mrs. Iyabo Oyawale and Princess Efe Imiren?s letters took their turn on Thursday and Friday respectively. And Oluwafisayo Akinlolu is featured on page 8 today. Be on the lookout for these letters every day between now and November 21.
This is what you are to do. Go through each letter carefully and select the ones you?d like to attend for N3,000 each. And, if you will listen to my advice, this is what I will do if I were in your shoes. I will put together a budget of not less than N30,000 to learn from at least 10 of my prot?g?s ?? even if some of them are treating the same topic.
Why? Because they all have different strategies, different short-cuts and different approaches that you will definitely miss if you restrict yourself to just one person. I hope you see the wisdom in that invaluable advice.
And now this: On the opening day of this year?s November Special, you will pay absolutely nothing! Yes, it?s free! And I?m going to be using that occasion to launch a new product by Complete Marketing Services.
The new product will start putting money in your pocket as an affiliate marketer before the end of that same day if you have a LIST ?? even if you have a doctor?s report that says you?re mentally retarded and of no use! And if you don?t have a LIST, don?t worry, I?ll teach you how to build one in a jiffy. More on that later.
Watch out for a comprehensive programme of the November Special next Monday, November 14. Don?t miss that edition for anything! And, also beginning from Thursday this week, you will be reading a short interview with my prot?g?s.
Finally, I promise to tell you why I deliberately held back from celebrating my prot?g?s since the beginning of this year. The reason is because I needed to separate the wheat from the chaff. And I?ve just done that.
Okay, that wraps it up for this week. See you next Monday by the special grace of GOD as I resume my series on My Life as an Entrepreneur.
See you at the newsstand!
